What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. This website works without them; we only use the cookies listed below.

Necessary cookie

This cookie remembers your choice in the cookie banner, so that we do not ask you again on every page. It is only set after you click “Accept” or “Reject” and does not identify you.

Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

If you click “Accept”, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. It gives us anonymous usage statistics — for example which pages are visited, how visitors find our website and which devices they use — so that we can improve the site. We do not use it for advertising: Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off. Until you accept, nothing is loaded from Google and these cookies are not set.

The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). Google may process this data on servers outside the European Union, including in the United States. For more information, see the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Changing your choice

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. When you withdraw it, the Google Analytics cookies are deleted from your browser. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to withdraw your consent at any time (this does not affect processing that took place before). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus (dataprotection.gov.cy).
